My Favourite Smart Locks For Airbnb

Although there are tons of great locks out there... I hate to overcomplicate things. Therefore, I'm sharing my top two favourite smart locks for Airbnb!!!

1. August Smart Lock: I personally use this lock and absolutely love it. It integrates with Airbnb automatically providing guests their own user access/profile for the duration of their stay. The 4th generation model of this product has built in wifi and bluetooth so you don't need the additional wifi hub either. Giving you the ability to lock/unlock your door from anywhere in the world. With August's Door Sense you are also able to tell if the door has been left ajar or unlocked to secure your home & guests safety at all times. The other added bonus of this product is you can use your existing door hardware and can add on the additional keypad if needed. @augusthomeinc

2. Nest x Yale: If your home is mostly Nest automated, I recommend the Nest x Yale lock as it's compatible with all their products and mostly the Nest doorbell. This smart lock has a longer battery life than the August at 8-12 months and also allows remote unlocking/locking. The only negative I would say with this product as its App isn't as detailed/targeted to Airbnb guests as the August and you do require the external network hub for it to work remotely. @googlenest @yalehomeus
